With our new Autonomous Team this year we decided to dedicate the month of April to Ai … Welcome to Ai-pril!
This a month-long campaign to promote active learning in robotics and AI topics to students on campus. We pride ourselves in providing students with opportunities to gain critical skills while participating in a real life project. We started the month off with a bang announcing our partnership with Women in AI Ireland, with the goal of working together to get more women involved in AI through Formula Trinity Autonomous!

We are thrilled to announce our new partnership with Women in AI Ireland!
Women in AI (WAI) is a nonprofit do-tank working towards gender-inclusive AI which will benefit the global society. This community-driven initiative brings empowerment, knowledge and active collaboration to the field of AI via education, research, events, and blogging.
We will work closely with Women in AI towards our shared goal of growing the participation of women in autonomous driving design and in engineering.

Women in AI Panel Talk
Following Formula Trinity Autonomous and Women in AI Ireland’s recent partnership comes their first collaborative event. On Wednesday April 28th join us for an insightful panel session on AI, data science, and robotics moderated by Katie Kilroy and Katherine Hardgrave from Formula Trinity.
The aim of this session is to highlight the growth and opportunities for women in the AI industry. The speakers are from different areas of AI from robotics to data science and autonomous driving. We are going to explore:
- Opportunities in robotics, autonomous vehicles, data science
- What has been the speakers experience in their career path
- What support is available for women interested in pursuing a career in AI

AI In Ireland Panel Talk
Our first event of AI-pril was AI In Ireland panel talk Wednesday 14th at 7pm, which is aiming to raise awareness about the opportunities in Ireland for students to engage and work in interesting topics related to AI and robotics research!
